Célivacances is ideal if you are single and would like to go on holiday with other singles. The name Célivancances comes from the two French words 'célibataire', meaning 'single', and 'vacances', meaning 'holiday'. If you are going on holiday for your first time as a single, divorcee, widow/widower, or single parent, it's reassuring to know that you will be with other singles having a friendly, relaxing, and above all, fun time. Célivacances offer holidays full of relaxation, laughter and entertainment for all tastes, sporting interests, and budgets. Rather than finding yourself surrounded by couples and families in a more traditional hotel setting, where finding other singles might prove challenging, Célivacances has created holiday resorts reserved for singles only. The accomodation comprises a number of fully furnished,full board, very comfortable, adjoining holiday cottages; each one occupied by singles within the same age range. There are certain dates available to single parents with children too: single parent holidays. At Célivacances you will become part of a new group of friends, who will have much in common with you, in a complex set out in an intimate but relaxed way, especially for adult singles. Your age, origin, social class, etc. will not matter as everyone is encouraged to join in with the various activities. You will never feel alone here. At least one supervisor will be around to help organise your holiday, but your participation is important. So each day everyone will join in with little tasks, like dressing the table for breakfast for example, helping to encourage the groups to get to know one another. Although things must be natural and spontaneous, it's also important to approach a holiday like this with the right mindset. You need to be positive, sociable, ready to share, and be happy to live in a group during your stay, even if you want to be on your own from time to time, or book a single room. Célivacances offers unique accomodation in two locations: ° A holiday cottage complex in the Charente-Maritime, especially designed with singles in mind, all in one place, set in a large common garden area. ° A large Villa designed for singles on the island of Djerba, with its own swimming pool and private beach. You will be staying with people within your age range but, of course, you can meet all the other singles throughout each complex (including those from celicamping.com who will be close by to the holiday cottages in the Charente-Maritime)! SPECIFICALLY WHAT HAPPENS?

You sign up to the dates which correspond to your profile: 18 to 25 years old, 20 to 35 years old, 30 to 45 years old, 40 to 55 years old, 50 to 65 old, 60 to 75 years old, or a single parent stay. Once you are here, we all get to know one another in a warm and friendly atmosphere, as if you are on holiday with friends! You get settled and then you choose from the wide range of activities available, but without any pressure, choosing only those that interest you: thereby personalizing your stay. When you arrive we will take care of everything for you: the only thing you have to do is meet people and make friends. The goal is simple: you are in control of your holiday, you are not obliged to do anything you don't want to. Rather than trying to create couples through games etc., which would force things and take any spontaneity out of it, we suggest instead a program of activities labelled "E" (for Economical). You can choose freely from these activities between yourselves, providing a great way to becoming a close nit group where you can all join in and have fun with each other. Our aim is to allow you to make things happen, new things, adventurous things, while at the same time creating a group of friends from the same generation, with the spirit of being in this together. If while you are enjoying yourselves, living life to the full, you happen to fall for someone, then like all the couples who have got together while on holiday with Célivacanes, we say, that's up to you, it's just the icing on the cake. Instead of adding any pressure, just simply set out to make friends first and let fate do the rest! Just remember that love is a matter of chemistry, and this can not be guaranteed by any agency. Our Chefs will prepare traditional cuisine, local to the island of Djerba, and the region of the Charente-Maritime. Varied and balanced meals will be made from local, seasonal and fresh produce!
